Artist statement

Handcrafted by Wayne, a retired joiner from New Plymouth. The crafting process involves selecting a suitable grain Macrocarpa block. Drawing his design onto the block which is then precision bandsawn bringing to life his creation. After sanding, sanding and more sanding he crafts and fixes the handles. He then sprays the drawer interiors with suede fibres. Finally applying a bees wax formula inside and out. Wayne hopes you get as much enjoyment from his box as he did making it.
