Since its establishment in 2013, the White Sail Gallery has been a platform for showcasing a diverse range of New Zealand art. This exceptional gallery is located in one of the most picturesque locations in New Plymouth, overlooking the magnificent Breakwater Bay. Here, you will encounter the works of artists such as Jill White, Libby McColl, Lester Earl, and many more. We take great pride in our commitment to supporting New Zealand-made art and objects, including paintings, jewellery, ceramics, homewares, glassware, and sculptures.

In 2021, the gallery underwent a change in ownership and is now proudly owned by Ray and Anne Barron, as well as Brad and Joanne Purcell. Jo, the Gallery Manager, possesses an inherent passion for the arts. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Ilam Art School at the University of Canterbury and 20 years of experience as a graphic designer in London and Australia, she brings a wealth of expertise to the gallery. Now, with a young family and her Australian husband by her side, Jo is driven to create a remarkable art space that can be enjoyed by all, both in-person in New Plymouth and online.
