Artist statement

Katrina Cosgrove is a contemporary artist based in Tasman, New Zealand, whose bold, nature-inspired paintings explore themes of transformation, self-discovery, and the deep connection between the human spirit and the natural world. Blending expressionism with abstract expressionism, her vibrant, uplifting works have been exhibited nationally, including as a finalist in the 2023 and 2024 Tasman National Art Awards.
