Hand-knitted in New Plymouth by Ingeborg Hawighorst of Indigo Design, on vintage machines that use no power at all. This soft dusky pink scarf blends 65% fine merino, 25% brushtail possum down, and 10% silk — light as air, warm as can be, and naturally self-refreshing so it needs little washing. Shaped as an elongated diamond, it drapes beautifully around the neck and shoulders. A beautiful piece with a good story: choosing possum-merino helps protect New Zealand’s native forests and wildlife from this invasive pest.
