Pigasus (Limited Edition Print) – Angela Croft

Inspired by John Steinbeck’s personal emblem, Pigasus, and the Latin motto Ad astra per alas porci — “to the stars on the wings of a pig.” The winged pig represents striving towards higher goals, regardless of perceived limitations.

Created for the Otago Arts Society’s 149th Anniversary Show in July 2025, Pigasus is a hand-drawn, limited edition print, 19/150.

Printed with archival inks on premium, acid-free, textured matte 100% cotton paper (260 g/m²).
