Bruce Walford

Born into a family of artists and craftspeople in 1951, Bruce completed an old-fashioned apprenticeship in hand-thrown tableware. He has since established studios and practised his craft in Florence, Edinburgh, Cape Town and Noosa. His throwing skills are such that in South Africa he was the subject of a book published by Lorette Espi. He presently lives and works in Palmerston North.
