Tanya Shearer

Practising from her home studio in Paraparaumu Beach front, alongside her mother Jenny Shearer, Tanya creates her striking stoneware ceramics that are both functional and fun.

An artist for 10 years, Tanya is inspired by everyday objects to hand-build domestic table and oven ware, in a simplified form. She also creates flat-fronted vases that are functional and fun.
