Bound Niho – Amber Dawn

A striking pendant handcrafted from authentic Kawakawa pounamu, a rich, dark variety of New Zealand greenstone known for its deep green tones that can appear almost black. Named after the dark leaves of the native kawakawa tree, this distinctive stone has a beautiful depth and intensity.

The Bound Niho takes its inspiration from the traditional niho form, reimagined by Amber Dawn in a clean, contemporary design. Its strong, sculptural shape and deep natural colouring create a timeless piece with a beautiful connection to the whenua.

Hand carved by New Zealand artisan Amber Dawn, each pendant reveals the individual character of the pounamu, with natural variations in colour and subtle markings making every piece unique.
