Artist statement

Fiona Ruth McLeod is a Castlecliff-based potter inspired by her island upbringing and the raw beauty of New Zealand’s west coast. Her colourful stoneware kitchenware reflects a deep connection to the sea, shaped by both Guernsey tides and Whanganui’s wild coastline. Working full-time as McLeod Pottery, she finds joy in clay’s rhythm and in sharing her craft through teaching.
