Artist statement

In Japanese Komori can mean being indoors, a small forest, or to protect the young. Bringing these meanings together, Komori wants to allow one to create their own little forest nest in times like the pandemic when going outside was not an option. Each piece at Komori was created with the intention to delight, inspire and encourage mindful living.
