Artist Statement

Kay Ogilvie is an enthusiastic and accomplished potter and sculptor who has been creating for over 30 years. Working from her clifftop studio on Wyuna Bay Road near Coromandel Town, she crafts everything from large garden sculptures and totem poles to fine wheel-thrown tumblers and brightly coloured hand-built platters and bowls. Constantly evolving in her practice, Kay remains passionate about making and sharing her joyful creations.
