Teatree Eating Spoon – Jeff Fryett
$20.00
Hand-Carved Mānuka (Tea Tree) Eating Spoon
Mānuka is not a timber that gives itself up easily — dense, hard, and full of character, it rewards the patient carver with a grain and warmth that few other timbers can match. This eating spoon has been coaxed from a single piece of New Zealand mānuka entirely by hand, shaped with axe, sloyd, and hook knife into something quietly beautiful.
Burnished smooth with a river pebble and sealed with a food-safe curing oil, it carries the kind of natural lustre that only comes from working with the wood, not against it.
A spoon made to be used, and used well.
