Artist statement

Coral Dolan is a New Plymouth-based artist driven by a deep passion for making, with a practice centred in ceramics that explores botanical histories and the quiet loss of endangered flora through intimate, tactile forms. A WITT graduate, her work spans exhibition and functional ceramics—often hand-crafted and individually painted—reflecting a thoughtful, process-led approach that continues to evolve through ongoing study and making.
